Ice Palace Studios

Ice Palace Studios is a film studio and event venue at 1400 North Miami Avenue in downtown Miami, set in a 1920s ice manufacturing plant. The property covers more than 100,000 square feet divided into four black-box stages and a front garden, with indoor and outdoor filming locations. According to Ice Palace, Bad Boys and Bad Boys II, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Miami Vice were filmed here, and for more than two decades the studio has hosted music videos, movies, TV shows, commercials and photo shoots for brands.

Ice Palace stages and buildings

• Large stages: two black-box stages of more than 15,000 square feet each.
• Small stages: two black-box stages of more than 3,500 square feet each.
• East Building: an all-black box designed to be transformed for each production or event.
• West Building: interconnected gallery-style rooms with tall white walls and high ceilings, a private patio, a back garden and a 5,000-square-foot black-box clubroom.

Events and booking

Ice Palace also hosts concerts, live shows, trade shows, fashion shows, art exhibitions and immersive experiences, with a maximum occupancy of 8,000; Miami Fashion Week and Art Basel editions have been held here.
