Maximalist Studios

With soaring ceilings and white brick walls, Maximalist Studios offers five film and photography studios with 8500 square feet of ample natural light for daylight shooting. The space includes a dedicated hair and make-up space, two bathrooms, high-speed wireless internet and SONOS Sound System. All studios are adjacent to our fully curated prop house which is available for use during your shoots.

Our Loft, Chef’s Kitchen, Workshop, Gallery A and Gallery B Studio spaces are highly versatile and can be combined for large commercial, product, fashion or styled photography and video shoots. For detailed information about each space and rates, click here.

Maximalist Studios is easily accessible to Center City Philadelphia, New York City and Washington, D.C. via interstate I-95 and all public transportation. For those looking to travel to the Studio from longer distances, we are a short drive from the Philadelphia International Airport and minutes from local hotels.

GALLERY A STUDIO
With high ceilings, ample room for large set builds, backdrops and prop styling. Gallery A is a blank canvas allowing you to make the space whatever you need it to be. Extending from the wall separating the Loft Studio to the far windows overlooking the Schuylkill River, Gallery A is a massive space perfect for large shoots with the capability to include Gallery B.

GALLERY B STUDIO
Gallery B easily accommodates set design, flats and area to stage products to prepare for photo shoots. With white brick walls and daylight streaming in through north, south and west-facing industrial windows, Gallery B is an excellent location for any type of photo or video production. Combine with Gallery A to host productions of all sizes.

CHEF’S KITCHEN STUDIO
Any food stylist’s or product photographer’s delight, our Chef’s Kitchen Studio features Samsung Chef Collection appliances, Kohler sinks, a 15-foot Carrera marble island with built-in solid oak cutting board, Forevermark Custom Cabinetry, drawers of OXO kitchen utensils and cooking equipment along with a stocked gourmet pantry.

LOFT STUDIO
The Loft Studio is an open, urban loft-styled space with high-end residential furniture and chic decor accents. The design is minimalist in nature in order for our clients to take it to the max using curated pieces from our prop house. This beautiful, serene space provides a creative environment perfect for any styled shoot.

WORKSHOP STUDIO
Looking to film a “How To” video for your social media content or stream a webinar teaching design to a global audience? The Workshop Studio is the perfect space to take your brand to the next level and demonstrate your expertise. With a professional refrigerated cooler, a deep Kohler work sink and work tables, the studio provides a unique option for interactive imagery.

PROP HOUSE
Unlike most photography and video studios, Maximalist Studios is home to an immense 2,200 square foot on-site, curated Prop House that is easily accessible by throughout the entire space. Our Chief Content Creator, Eddie Ross, has spent years building this brilliant catalogue of pieces to add interest and dimension to any production shoot.
