Arlo Studios

Arlo Studios rents three photo and video studios in Atlanta: the Arlo Pro Suite on Ottley Drive NE in the Armour-Ottley area near Buckhead, and the Arlo Loft and Arlo Westlight on the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine off Ralph McGill Boulevard. The studios book by the hour or by the day with lighting included, and they are set up for commercial, e-commerce, fashion editorial, branding and portrait work. Arlo also runs a creative agency offering photo and video production.

Studios

• Arlo Loft: a 1,500-square-foot industrial suite designed by Atlanta commercial photographers, with a white cyc wall of more than 400 square feet, oversized industrial windows, polished concrete floors, hand-painted canvas backdrops, a motorized four-color seamless paper system, blackout blinds, freight elevator access and wheelchair access.
• Arlo Pro Suite: 1,000 square feet with west-facing windows, a center-stage skylight, Venetian arches, a 12 x 12 x 12-foot pre-lit cyclorama and seven-plus styled scenes.
• Arlo Westlight: a 1,750-square-foot daylight studio with 22 feet of original west-facing industrial windows, a lime-washed arch wall, a curved built-in bookcase and a full kitchen; Arlo lists peak sun from 1 to 5 p.m.

Included gear

Each studio includes constant lights from Aputure or Amaran with modifiers, C-stands, sandbags, a makeup vanity, a steamer and clothing racks. Seamless paper colors, strobes and light tubes are available as add-ons.

Booking and hours

Arlo operates by appointment only, with instant online booking, a two-hour minimum and hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. According to Arlo, the Pro Suite has more than 300 reviews and Westlight more than 100. Free street parking is available on Ralph McGill Boulevard for the BeltLine studios.
