Assembly Studios is a sound stage lot in Doraville, just inside the Perimeter northeast of downtown Atlanta, built on the grounds of a former General Motors assembly plant. Part of the Assembly Atlanta development owned by Gray Media, the lot’s day-to-day operations and services are run by Universal Production Services. Counting the three stages of Third Rail Studios at Assembly, the campus has 22 sound stages with 40 to 50 feet to the grid, four filmable building facades and full production services on one lot, used for features, television, streaming, commercials and independent films.
