BrandStar Studios

BrandStar Studios is the production studio division of BrandStar, a South Florida entertainment and marketing company, and its studio at 3860 North Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach, Florida, is built around a curved LED volume for virtual production. BrandStar rents the studio to agencies, brands, production companies and corporate teams, with in-house crew available and outside crews welcome.

LED volume

• Wall: a curved LED wall that BrandStar lists at 77 feet wide and 13 feet high, with a 1.9mm pixel pitch and up to 11,264 by 2,048 resolution at 60Hz.
• Ceiling: an expandable ceiling grid with optional LED ceiling panels for lighting and reflections.
• Tracking and rendering: Mo-Sys camera tracking, three wall render nodes and a CG node on NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs, and dual LED controllers.
• Content: an in-house Virtual Art Department builds custom Unreal Engine environments.

Other spaces in Deerfield Beach

• A pre-lit, paint-ready white cyc wall for product, fashion and clean-key work
• A broadcast-grade control room for live and multi-camera shoots
• Working prep and shoot kitchens, a green room and a hair and makeup suite

Crew, gear and booking

BrandStar offers camera, grip, electric, art, hair, makeup, sound and virtual art crew, plus camera packages including Sony Venice and RED Komodo. BrandStar lists automotive shoots, product launches and branded content as typical uses of the volume and cites a Ford electric Mustang spot set in the Florida Keys that was shot in a single day on its LED stage. BrandStar recommends booking virtual production projects as early as possible, and studio tours are available.
