Chil Studios

Chil Studios is a photo, video and event studio inside the MET Atlanta complex on Murphy Avenue SW, between Atlanta’s historic West End and Adair Park neighborhoods and a few blocks from the West End MARTA station. Designed by creatives with professionals and content creators in mind, it offers more than 3,000 square feet of minimal, solid-white space with high ceilings, natural light, private rooms and an upstairs loft. According to Chil Studios, brands that have worked in the space include Billboard, Beats by Dre, Mailchimp and FUBU, along with Black Bride and Bust magazines, and its guests have included Stacey Abrams, Killer Mike and Lil Yachty.

• A green room with seating, clothing racks, a dressing room and makeup mirrors
• A half kitchen and a restroom
• A glass garage door that opens onto a parking space for ground-level load-in

Equipment

In-house rentals include 10-foot seamless backdrops in more than a dozen colors, tabletop surfaces, Elinchrom strobe kits, Nanlite and GVM LED lights, reflectors, V-flats, C-stands and a motorized slider. Every rental includes a cart with a steamer, clamps and an extension cord, plus sandbags and a Bluetooth speaker system.

Memberships and events

Monthly memberships bundle studio hours for regular renters, and the studio hosts dinners, workshops, pop-up shops, exhibits and other events of up to 100 guests until midnight.

Hours and booking

Studio rentals run from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days a week and are booked online. On-site studio hosts, free parking and 24/7 security are included, and tours are offered by appointment on weekdays.
