Crescent City Studios

Crescent City Studios is a production company that caters to all aspects of the production industry including studio and stage rentals, post production, production management and production office space. The studio houses a 4,000 square foot soundstage, news room set, green room, HD edit suites and fully furnished production offices. There is wireless internet throughout the facility. Crescent City Studios operates out of FOX 8 in New Orleans.

POST PRODUCTION

HD edit suites are fully equipped with state-of-the-art 8-Core Mac Pro systems, AJA Capture Card + Breakout Box, Final Cut Studio 3 + AVID Nitris DX and AVID Mojo, dual widescreen displays, large HD client displays, KRK Stereo reference monitors, 16-channel Mackie Mic/Line Mixer, 8-channel Behringer A/D converter and UPS Battery Backup. All edit suites can be rented with or without a professional editor.

SOUNDSTAGE

Crescent City Studios houses a 4,000 square foot stage with a 16' cyc wall and lighting grid. It is 23 feet from floor to grid. Grid includes 180 dimmers with 20 AMP and 60 AMP Bates Connections. Power source is 100amp, 3-phase. It is a fully air-conditioned space with freight access for any size production and delivery vehicles.

OFFICE SPACE

Fully furnished production offices with high-speed wireless access, conference telephones and voicemail, restrooms, conference room and break room. Light housekeeping provided.

NEWS ROOM SET

Our 2,000 square foot newsroom set is available for rent and includes 3 different set ups – a 4 person anchor desk, a green screen wall and a single person reporter desk. Lighting, camera equipment and labor is included in the rental fee.
