Gum Studios

GUM Studios is a soundstage on the East Coast that is owned and operated by women, and we have been at the forefront of the industry since our establishment by Carrie White in 2008. Our studio is a popular destination for filmmakers and production companies in the New York Metropolitan Tri-State Area, owing to our multiple locations and state-of-the-art equipment rentals.

Our studio expanded in 2019 with the launch of our Level-2 QPF Sunset Park complex. It features three locations, six studios, multiple offices, and support spaces, spanning over 50,000 sq ft of soundstages and green rooms. The equipment rental house affiliated with the complex spans 10,000 sq ft. We have attracted several notable names, including Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa, Drew Barrymore, Robert DeNiro, and Miley Cyrus, as well as TV shows like Project Runway and Food Network’s Worst Cooks.

We cater to a wide range of clients, including production companies, advertising agencies, video photographers, designers, and large TV/film productions. Some of our spaces are Level 2 QPF, meeting the requirements for applying to the New York State Film Production tax credit program. Our studios are versatile, film and photo-friendly, with expansive sizes that can accommodate any shoot. We place a high priority on customer service, which is evident in our excellent reviews.
