M3 Studios

M3 Studios is a film and television production facility at 4000 NW 36th Avenue in Miami, minutes from Miami International Airport. Open since 2003, it rents seven sound stages and production studios, three cyc walls and green screen stages across more than 122,000 square feet, and describes itself as the largest independently owned television and film studio facility in South Florida. According to M3, its stages serve music videos, commercials, infomercials, television shows and films.

M3 Studios stages

• Studio A: the largest sound stage at 82’9″ x 111’10”, soundproofed, with a giant white cyc, a 4×4 lighting grid, 1,200 amps of three-phase power with camlock drops, elephant load-in doors and a control room with a voice-over booth.
• Studio B: a 90′ x 90′ soundproof stage with 3,000 amps of power, silent air conditioning and its own lobby, dressing rooms and hair and makeup areas.
• Studios C and D: newly built 42′ x 90′ soundproof stages; Studio C has a cyc that vehicles can drive onto, and Studio D holds news, talk show and green screen sets.
• Studio F and the cyclorama room: second-floor, sound-conditioned spaces served by a freight elevator, including a 39′ x 100′ stage and a four-corner hard cyc.

Standing sets and services

Standing sets include a jail, interrogation room, hospital room, lab, kitchen, news set, talk show set, garage and sheriff’s office. Camera, lighting and audio rentals, set building and dressing, crewing, stunt coordination, vintage and exotic vehicle rentals, editing bays and post-production are available on site.

Amenities, parking and booking

Each stage has its own support area with production offices, dressing rooms, makeup rooms, green rooms, kitchens and showers. The gated property has four parking lots with room for more than 150 cars, Wi-Fi and an on-site stage manager during business hours. M3 also rents 60,000 square feet of flex office space and books its stages for rehearsals and events. Stages are booked by phone or through the contact form on the M3 Studios website.
