East Village video podcast studio with three sets and an engineer on every session
Melrose Podcasts New York is a video podcast studio at 96 Avenue B in Manhattan’s East Village. It belongs to a network of studios that began on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and has since added locations in New York and Austin. The New York room has three distinct sets, from a warm sofa-and-plants lounge that the studio likens to a downtown apartment to a modern table built for video roundtables, and it works for anything from a two-person interview to a small panel. According to Melrose Podcasts, shows recorded at the New York studio include Giggly Squad, The Don Lemon Show, Blocks with Neal Brennan, Lipps Service, Unwaxed and Unlicensed Therapy with Ari Mannis.

Services
Beyond studio recording, Melrose Podcasts offers editing and post-production (camera switching, audio cleanup, color, titles, graphics and social clips), multi-camera video production, mobile recording at a client’s home, office or event, and custom studio builds. Raw files are normally ready in about eight hours by Google Drive link.
Capacity, access and booking
The table seats four on camera, with room for two more people off camera; the studio notes it is not set up for large crews. Video podcasts are recorded with the studio’s own camera package. There are no set hours, but most times can be accommodated with advance notice, and sessions are booked through the live calendar on the studio’s site, which also offers free 15-minute tours. Parking is street-only, so most guests arrive by subway or rideshare, and a stocked fridge of complimentary refreshments is on hand for hosts and guests.
