Mint Room Miami

Mint Room Miami is a 10,000-square-foot daylight photo studio and event space on the second floor of a building on NE 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, two minutes from The Citadel and ten from Wynwood. It is part of Mint Room Studios, which also runs a studio in Toronto. Seven styled rooms with large windows rent by the hour for photo and silent video shoots, and single rooms or the full floor can be booked for commercial, editorial, e-commerce and content productions or for events.

Studio rooms

• Nova: the largest room at 850 square feet, with a 14-foot cyclorama, a custom cement podium, concrete floors and floor-to-ceiling west- and south-facing windows. Mint Room designed it for commercial, editorial and fashion photography.
• Aura: a 700-square-foot all-white room styled as a lived-in Parisian apartment, with wainscoting, an arched stone mantel and south-east-facing windows, modeled on the most popular room at the Toronto studio.
• Terra and Mirage: 700-square-foot loft-style rooms with arches, warm-toned and lime-wash walls and south-east-facing windows.
• Soleil: a 300-square-foot minimalist room with a fluted wall and south-west-facing windows that open onto the terrace.
• Luna and Oasis: a white room with a bed and draped fabric canopy, and a blank-canvas room with lime-wash walls and four backlit floating mirrors.

Several rooms are restyled with seasonal set installations during the holidays.

Productions and events

For larger shoots, Mint Room provides on-site staff, a makeup room, a kitchenette, a bar area, private meeting spaces, an outdoor terrace and an elevator, along with backdrops, studio lighting, C-stands, V-flats, wind fans, racks and tripods. The full space hosts product launches, workshops, influencer events and private gatherings for up to 100 people.

Hours, parking and booking

Rooms are booked online with a one-hour minimum and are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with after-hours sessions arranged by email. Video with recorded sound and events are booked directly with the studio. Limited validated parking is available in the garage behind the building, plus metered street parking. A membership program offers regular photographers discounts.
