Daylight production studio with 15-foot ceilings and 13 windows in Pilsen
Stopover Studios is a third-floor daylight studio at 2414 West Cullerton Street in Chicago’s Pilsen / Lower West Side, close to the West Loop, Fulton Market, Bridgeport and downtown production corridors. It rents for commercial photography, product and tabletop shoots, portraits, lookbooks, editorial and headshots, as well as branded video, interviews, fittings, workshops, launches and client review days. Stopover describes itself as a daylight production room rather than a built soundstage.
The room
Production support
Through its building, the studio connects productions with the camera and lighting rental house Eleven04 for camera packages, lighting, grip, trucks, expendables and crew support, and with Revel Decor for fabrication, scenic environments, florals, staging and signage.
Load-in, power and parking
Crews load in through a street-level door and a freight elevator from West Cullerton Street. The floor has standard 120-volt circuits along the walls, so Stopover recommends tie-ins or a small generator for high-draw HMIs or large LED panels. Street parking is available on Cullerton and surrounding Pilsen blocks, and the studio can advise on holds for grip trucks and sprinter vans when dates are coordinated in advance.
