FOX Studio Lot

FOX Studio Lot rents sound stages, a New York Streets backlot and special event venues on its studio lot at 10201 West Pico Boulevard, next to Century City in West Los Angeles. Known historically as Movietone City, the lot was, according to FOX, the first complete facility built specifically for the production of motion pictures, and the FOX family has served the production community there for nearly a century. Its stages are open to all productions, and its catering and events team hosts red-carpet premieres, wrap parties, galas, screenings, corporate functions, fashion events and brand activations.

Event venues

• New York Streets: towering Manhattan-style facades and streetscapes for galas, premiere parties, fashion events and brand activations.
• Darryl F. Zanuck Theater: a long-running special events theater with auditorium seating and advanced projection, for screenings, presentations, panels and launches.
• Commissary Lawn and Lawn 103: open-air lawns among the sound stages for receptions, screening parties and activations.
• Avenue D, MovieTone Way and the Little Theater Area: outdoor lot settings with old-Hollywood character.

Events can use the lot’s parking, screening rooms and on-lot catering, with menus customized for dietary needs; dining spaces include the Commissary Dining Room.

Stages and production services

• Sound stages: 15 stages from 14,000 to 28,274 sq ft, more than 300,000 sq ft in all, four of them audience-rated, with integrated lighting and power and silent air conditioning and heating.
