Cori and Sage

Cori and Sage is a natural-light photo studio and event space on West 14th Street in downtown Austin, within walking distance of the Texas Capitol. The 1,050-square-foot space has three distinct rooms and is rented for photoshoots, video content, brand activations, corporate events, pop-up shops, art shows, workshops and private gatherings. It was opened by a photographer who came to Austin in 2019 to study at the University of Texas and has worked in content creation and advertising.

The studio

• Layout: 1,050 square feet across three rooms, with a mix of soft, diffused and direct natural light and both indoor and outdoor shooting areas.
• Equipment and furniture: basic photography essentials, including photo paper and simple lighting props, plus versatile furniture.
• Amenities: a kitchenette with a mini oven for light prep and a private full bathroom with a shower.

Events

Cori and Sage hosts birthdays, bachelorette parties, brand activations and corporate gatherings, and asks event clients to email before booking. Outside vendors, including caterers and decor teams, are welcome if they follow the studio guidelines. Alcohol may be served with the proper permits and a licensed bartender where local law requires one. Music is allowed at a respectful volume, and a Bluetooth speaker is provided. Every booking includes time for setup and breakdown.

Hours and booking

The studio books online from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special accommodations on request, and doesn’t take walk-ins. Rentals start at one hour, with half-day and full-day options, and walkthroughs can be scheduled by email.
