Milk Studios

Milk Studios rents photography and film studios on North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood. It is the Los Angeles location of Milk, whose divisions include Milk Studios in New York, a creative agency and Milk Makeup, and Milk describes the studios as a premier, full-service photography and film studio. The Hollywood campus has six numbered studios plus the Hangar and the Pavilion, with concrete floors and three-phase power throughout, and several studios can be combined into larger spaces.

Hollywood studios

• Studio 1: 3,000 square feet with north and west light, a center skylight, Starphire glass windows, a 26-by-28-foot cyc 19 feet high and a hair and makeup area.
• Studio 2: 1,900 square feet with western light and a center skylight, without a cyc.
• Studio 3: 2,200 square feet with southern light and an 18-by-22-foot cyc 25 feet high under a skylight.
• Studio 4: 3,200 square feet with northern light and a 25-by-25-foot cyc.
• Studio 5: 4,500 square feet without daylight, with a 40-by-30-foot cyc, 20 feet to the truss, 400-amp power and a mezzanine with a lounge, wet bar and private restroom.
• Studio 6: 4,800 square feet with four skylights, a 27-by-25-foot cyc, a private entrance, a conference room with a lounge and two restrooms.
• Hangar: 9,000 square feet with east and west light and 26-foot ceilings, connected to Studio 5 through a 12-by-12-foot loading dock.

Equipment, digital and events

Milk Equipment Rental supplies photography and film equipment in studio and on location, with 24-hour production and shoot support in Los Angeles. Milk DGTL offers in-house DPs and technicians, digital photo and video rentals, still capture, exhibition printing and archiving, and Milk Events produces product launches, runway shows, seated dinners, screenings and brand activations.
