Storyhouse Studio

Storyhouse Studio is a boutique video and podcast production studio on South Lamar Boulevard in Austin’s 78704, just south of downtown. Created by cinematographer and founder Jefe Greenheart, it rents a 1,200-square-foot, sound-treated space with more than 10 shooting looks, including multiple premium interview and podcast sets, to producers, agencies, brands and founders. According to Storyhouse, productions filmed in the room include the Front Row Dads and Kris Kelley podcasts and content series for Codie Sanchez and Function Health.

The studio

• Natural light with custom diffusion and blackout options, and soundproofing and acoustics designed for interview and podcast capture.
• Multi-camera production options, remote guest and producer telepresence, teleprompter support, and client and production monitors.

Gear, crew and services

• A standard rental covers the space; Sony cinema-line cameras, lighting, grip, monitors, teleprompters and a professional crew can be added.
• Storyhouse also produces B2B podcast seasons, founder films and campaign production days, and offers monthly studio memberships for recurring shoots.

Amenities, hours and booking

The second-floor studio has elevator access, free parking on both sides of the building, a hair and makeup space, a green room, a lobby with fridge, microwave and coffee, a 75-inch Frame TV with screen mirroring and Google Fiber Wi-Fi. A studio manager is onsite or on call during bookings. The studio is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, rentals have a three-hour minimum, and tours can be scheduled through the website.
