Warner Bros. Studios Burbank

Warner Bros. Studios Burbank rents sound stages, backlot sets and event locations on its 110-acre studio lot at 4000 Warner Boulevard in Burbank. Besides production rentals for film, television and commercial work, the studio’s Special Events department runs corporate, charitable and industry events on the lot, from intimate screenings to large galas and premieres, and Warner Bros. says it delivers more than 275 events a year. According to the studio, productions made here range from A Star Is Born and Blade Runner to Friends and The Big Bang Theory, with recent shows including The Pitt, Shrinking and The Studio.

Event locations

• Midwest Street: the lot’s largest event setting, for up to 3,000 reception guests or 1,500 at a banquet.
• New York Street: 28,000 sq ft of backlot street for up to 2,000 reception guests.
• Embassy Courtyard and New York Park: 19,000 sq ft for up to 1,000 reception guests.
• Warner Bros. Jungle: a 24,000 sq ft jungle lagoon set for up to 800 guests.
• Steven J. Ross Theater: 513 seats with a lobby for receptions, plus three screening rooms seating 49 to 211.

Other event settings include French Street, Hennesy Street, Brownstone Street, Park Place, the Commissary Fine Dining Room and the Warner Bros. Ranch. The Special Events team handles events from concept to clean-up with an on-site production team, and its work has won BizBash Event Style Awards.

Sound stages and production rentals

• Main lot: 30 sound stages up to 32,130 sq ft; Stage 16, 65 ft high with a 2.5-million-gallon tank, is one of the tallest stages in the world.
• The Ranch: 16 acoustically engineered stages of 15,000 to 25,000 sq ft about a mile from the main lot, with a 40,000 sq ft mill.
• Backlot and departments: exterior sets including two New York City streets and a jungle lagoon, plus grip, set lighting, costume, property, special effects and transportation departments.

Hours and booking

The Special Events office is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and takes requests through an online inquiry form; stage leasing is open Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
