Filmmaker Angel Gracia pushes forward with Super Studios USA at 561 Easy Drive. The 21.47-acre site sits 20 miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth. Construction on the initial 81,000-square-foot phase begins this year and targets completion in 2027.

Phase 1 specs: Two 18,000-square-foot twin soundstages, four individual stages, three-story production offices, and a camera-ready backlot. The build mixes practical sets with real commercial buildings, housing, restaurants, bars, that double as production backdrops.

Gracia, known for From Prada to Nada and Fortune 500 commercials, frames the full 75-acre campus as an AI-powered ecosystem. Plans include additional soundstages, AI offices, a data center, on-site housing, hotels, retail, theaters, and a trade school for emerging creators. Total vision: $750 million mixed-use “city within a city.”

Mansfield sold the land for $1 in 2025 with start-date contingencies. The city reimburses 100% of initial impact fees upon certificate of occupancy. No further local incentives apply, though the project qualifies for expanded Texas film incentives now at $1.5 billion over the decade.

This development joins Taylor Sheridan’s SGS Studios campus in nearby Fort Worth, which already hosted Landman and Lioness. North Texas tightens its grip on major productions inside the 30-mile zone.
